I'm glad I have local businesses to patronize. This company sounds horrible.

Boycott all of Roark businesses listed in the article. Then add all businesses and products from Nestle's. There are plenty to choose from, at the end of the day, that are neither company mentioned.

But, I try hard to keep up, so as to not make even one penny of my money go to them. STAY WOKE UP AND VOTE BLUE

If you’re not voting independent, you’re still asleep. Just say No to corporate-nationalism.

Download the GOODS UNITE US app. They list all these shitty rightwing companies.

80% of our food and household needs come from these corporations at the top. They are all owned or controlled by…. J☆ws

It's hard to imagine my local Subway becoming EVEN WORSE than it already is/was.

I stopped patronizing them after they refused to fix the air conditioning for the entirety of a hot Georgia summer (pre-pandemic, there was no supply issue for not fixing it). Not only because it was clearly miserable for the employees, but also because it's hard to believe the table coolers were keeping ingredients in the proper food safety range while the internal temperature of the room was 85+.

I wrote them a Google review, stating the AC situation was a complete deal breaker and only received a canned, ingenuine response.

typical response from Corporate murica...I ate at the COTTON PATCH in texass

(very very extremely unfortunate for me living in this miserable state under the "LEADERSHIP OF WHEELS AND ted warm weather cruz and cornyn) and every weekend (for 20 years or so at least)

I ordered the same thing...Baked chicken and dressing...2x broccoli rice chesse casserole and 2x sweet potatoes.

CORPORATE AMERICA decided different....C.A. went to a bs sliced turkey so i called up cheaply paid receptionist snd basically she offered be a bs coupin for 1 meal... I told her to keep their money as i wouldn't step foot in Cotton Patch ever again...that fiasco was 20 years ago and haven't been back since.

Stop shopping at chain stores. Just stop.

I wish that could include gas stations

Just good to know who is behind the brands. It’s been much easier to reject these fast foods, brands etc. Never thought my buying decisions would get so focused but its a great way to say no to mega billionaires.

Boycott! That shit is terrible for you anyway. Tons of sugar, carbs, factory farmed and processed. Stay away if you value your body and democracy.

Tell me again. Is there any difference between unfettered capitalism and fascism?

R.R. Walker's avatar

Both involve rape, so…no.

Boycott. The food at these places is mostly highly processed junk and not great for your health

And proven to raise the rise of heart attack and stroke.

And don’t forget diabetes

Shopping small and local; we’re spending more time preparing our home cooked meals. Now I know that in addition to better nutrition, I’m feeding my conscience. I’ve always loathed everything Rand wrote and found that many who support her philosophy were given TONS of help along the way.

Felicia Smith's avatar

Interesting fact: Rand spent her later years on public assistance. LOL 😝

Worse than not great… it's horrible and will make you sick in time. Eat real food…

I totally agree! I’m horrified at what I see consumed by coworkers at lunch time (and thst doesn’t even include the massive amounts of energy drinks they drink.

Private equity means I’ll suck every penny out of the business for our investors until it’s dry and then declare bankruptcy.

This is NO way to build America!

If it were me in charge, my DOJ would be hounding them legally until they folded. And some went to jail.

Angus Stevenson's avatar

Those chains are shit anyway, avoid them

Sandi R.'s avatar

Buy from small independent businesses whenever and wherever possible.

Julie Unbound's avatar

Thank you for this! Private equity doesn't make it into the news enough, but it is certainly destroying what is left of this country.

Greed. It’s now the American way. And what will it get Aronson in the end? Nothing. He’ll be a putrefying corpse feeding worms like the rest of us.

Walt Svirsky's avatar

Greed has been the American way since 1776

jana leland's avatar

--Actually, greed has been the coin of the realm, since the Puritans conspired--back in England--to come over and purge the new country for themselves.

The minute they set foot on Plymouth Rock, it was fait accompli. Even Jamestown didn't slow them down. They were determined to install 'christian' nationalism, even then.

A system that allows this to function is modern day slavery

These merger need to stop…people will be left with no choice & no competitive pricing! I thought there was a law against monopolies?

Vote with your feet and wallet.. don’t shop in these chains.
