Agree on leaving current hot button issues alone for the most part, main catch being abortion, where I'm of the opinion that it was fine when Roe v Wade was law (all Dobbs v Jackson did was give states the right to ban it for the individual).
The trans debate only serves to push unnecessarily dehumanizing rhetoric (and frankly there really wasn't a problem before 2020 or so), abortion should be decided by the individual (odds are the individual can make better decisions about their own life, yknow?), and so on. Liberty is supposed to be prioritized, and we're not doing that right now.
